Sometimes when we're driving around, the kids will watch a Hillsongs dvd in the car. There is a specific scene of a girl dancing around in a tutu that Julianna loves. And every time that scene comes on, Julianna has to point it out over and over and over again until someone acknowledges her that, "yes she is a beautiful ballerina". Yesterday we were driving in the car and the scene was coming up, (you could tell by the anticipation on Juliannas face). Here is how the conversation went between Ali and Julianna:
J: "Look look look ... a bawerwina... look look a bawerwina... look look... ahhh look look aahhh... she's a pwincess... a bawerwina pwincess.."
Ali then cut her off.. she leaned over and put her hand on top of Julianna's head and said in the most stern, yet loving voice...
A: "Yes Juju, I know you saw the ballerina, and that is great! But pleeeease don't tell me about it anymore".
It was all I could do to hold in the laughter. :)
